The Violins
Members of The Violins include marching band virtuosos, known cyclists, and former members of previously well-loved Anacortes bands such as My Friends Call Me Sweet Pea, Well Done Dragon, Ship of Friends, Photosynthesis, and Squid vs. Shark. Gapping the transition from Anacortes teenhood to Anacortes young adulthood, The Violins will sing you songs about what kids learn when they realize there’s no such thing as “growing up.” Their influences range freely across differing genres, but you can expect roughly “dirty powerpop.” More importantly, The Violins writes songs that are frank, beautiful, and free of deceit.
